PPD - Tbilisi

The aim of project
PPD – Tbilisi is a strategic initiative aimed at enhancing cooperation between the public and private sectors in Georgia to improve economic policymaking and foster an inclusive business environment. The project focuses on strengthening the institutional capacity of business associations through specialized training in areas such as marketing, lobbying, negotiation, team leadership, and association development. A key component of the initiative is the formulation of policy papers and national action plans that support effective public-private dialogue (PPD), advocacy, and reform processes. Special attention is given to sectors like agri-food, where value chain development and export potential are emphasized. The project also supports the creation of reform coalitions and regional platforms such as the PPD Network and the Central and Eastern Europe Business Council (CEE BC), which serve as hubs for SME policy dialogue. Through these efforts, PPD – Tbilisi contributes to transparent policymaking, stronger business representation, and more sustainable economic growth in Georgia.
